Terra Foras Rural PROPERTIES
Landscape design of gardens for rural properties
Sprawling, rural gardens have so much potential with the physical space available to make the house-and-garden connection something really special. Our portfolio features both contemporary and more traditional homes set in rural Aberdeenshire (most with amazing views), but what is common to all is how the garden spaces are designed to complement the family home and make it feel like it’s “one” with the surroundings, as well as offering an extended living space that’s perfect for how the homeowners wish to live.
Gardens of rural Aberdeenshire homes
Get inspiration for your family’s home with the gardens we’ve designed for countryside homes in Aberdeenshire. From modern architect-designed homes to renovated houses with established gardens or blank canvas transformations, this is a design collection of work we’ve loved.

“Our garden was looking uncared for due to the structure of the garden making it difficult. It wasn't suitable to give our children the freedom to play in it with some features making it unsafe. We also didn’t have the time needed, to maintain it properly as it was.....
"It was Terra Foras’s design led approach and innovative thinking that attracted us to them. We hoped the garden redesign would create a visually exciting and very useable external space. This has, without question, been achieved.....
